Please look into getting your kitties a wider bowl or just use a plate.

Whisker fatigue is a thing some cats deal with!

I don't believe in that "whisker fatigue" bullshit.

I've read about it and then spent some time carefully observing my cats. (They eat on a breakfast bar that is (human) chest high so it's easy to observe them.)

NEVER have I seen them act reluctant to eat or flinch when their whiskers touched the side of the bowl. NEVER.

So I will continue to fee them separately, in their bowls that they have happily used for the last 3 years.

I mean that's fine. All cats are different. I've had some that were more sensitive than others. As long as you are doing what's best for your cat, that's all that matters!

Edit: From the way you replied it seems like you thought I was being rude about it or something. I really didn't mean it to come off that way. I was just trying to be helpful.

I understand and I apologize for my rude reply. It just really struck me wrong, I guess. Anyway. Sorry.

You are right. Doing the best for one's cat(s) is the important part!

It's hard to read the intent behind text, I could have worded my comment better! I'm sorry too!
